Writing to express my gratitude for how kind, compassionate, and professional the Mariemont Vet Clinic was before, during, and after helping my sweet dachshund cross the rainbow bridge. 😢 I had not visited their clinic before but my heart told me my almost 18 year old dachshund was suffering and I knew I needed to act quickly. After reading through many, many reviews of persons in similar situations, I couldn’t bring myself to call any place. I ended up seeing their clinic while driving past it and thought I’d stop in just to see if they possibly could help. The receptionist could see how difficult it was for me to ask about the euthanasia service and she spoke with the doctor to see if they could assist with an appointment that day. They offered me several time availabilities to come back later in the day with my pup with the reassurance that I could change my mind if I at all was not ready. But I knew, it was time. During our appointment, they made my sweet girl as comfortable with a fluffy blanket and after the sedation, allowed me to give her whatever I thought she might want— so peanut butter chocolate was her last taste of life. It was a heartbreaking experience but in no way because of the clinic staff. They were the most compassionate and made me feel that I could trust them with this most precious good bye. They were thorough in their explanation of the process while also being gentle and empathetic. A few weeks later, I received the kindest, heartfelt condolences card with messages from the staff that made me burst into tears and even now as I write this review, I’m crying. This time I’m crying because I’m so very grateful that they were there for us when we needed them the most. Thank you, thank you, Mariemont Vet Clinic. The work you do is very important and your acts of love expressed in your professionalism and compassion really mattered to me that day and still now. With gratitude… ❤️

Unfortunately, this week I had to say goodbye to my oldest kitten (yes, they're kittens until they turn 15). I just moved to Columbus and was dreading calling a bunch of clinics to get pricing when I could barely bring myself to talk aloud through the tears. Thankfully, Mariemont was my first call that morning; each interaction from my initial call to my final goodbye to Stella, and then my departure from the clinic was caring, understanding, and professional. I think they would've let me stay in the exam room for an hour if I wanted. Thank you all so much for your help that day, I needed your support and you were so generous and gentle.

I love the personalized care my cat gets when I take her here. I never need to wait before going into a room. The staff are friendly and professional. The facility is clean and bright.

I was nervous about having my bunny neutered but they took good care of him and everything was great. The staff are attentive and caring.
